Lipa City, Batangas is the venue for various festivals around the year. It has hosted the national Coffee festival numerous times. It has also been the host of the Walistik festival. Walis is a symbolic representation of unity and thus this serves as the major theme of the festival. Recently, the city of Lipa has been hosting the Lomi festival. Lomi is one of the most widely eaten and enjoyed foods in the whole province and in fact, the whole country.

Lipa City is also home to many religious monuments. As most of the people are Roman Catholics, there are many churches spread throughout the city. There are also many cathedrals throughout the city.

Tourism is one of the biggest industries in the city. It is also one of the most prominent sources of income. The jobs of many people are directly or indirectly attached with this industry. Hence, there are numerous hotels, resorts, clubs, bars, houses, apartments, mansions, condos and other types of accommodation around the city. All this property makes real estate one of the most prominent things in the operation and functioning of the city.
